Candidates selecting Social Science as their primary subject must choose History, Geography, Economics, or Political Science as their secondary subject. It is mandatory for one of the secondary subjects to be either History or Geography.

Primary school candidates, as per the Supreme Court’s directive, need to express their consent for downloading the admit card. Applicants associated with the Education Department and the Backward and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department for the teaching positions must choose the subject relevant to the Education Department only. Effective immediately, the selection of music and art subjects will not be applicable in middle schools.

The Commission has issued a press release stating that the 18-month D.El.Ed degree is valid. Untrained primary teachers employed before October 10, 2017, will be eligible for the validity of the 18-month D.El.Ed degree.
