– Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR
– Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms, OR
– Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
– Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), OR
– Bachelor’s Degree Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE recognized institution. However, such candidates must undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of their appointment as primary teachers, OR
– Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility:
– You need either:
– Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, OR
– At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), OR
– Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE Norms, OR
– Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
– Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed, OR
– Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education), OR
– If you have qualified in a B.Ed. Program recognized by the NCTE, you are eligible to appear in TET/CTET, OR
– Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
